We are in Round 15 of 2021 Formula One Season, but possibility of having clean race weekend at Sochi seems very low with thunderstorms and heavy rains forecasted for all three days of race weekend for 2021 Russian Grand Prix.
After witnessing rain washed 2021 Belgium GP, fans and teams don’t want another race weekend end up without any show on the track.
Saturday is predicted to be heavy rainy day out of three days, so there is possibility of pushing qualifying back to Sunday morning.

Friday seems better compared to Saturday and Sunday weather wise at Sochi. Partly cloudy during the day. Increasing clouds with 33% cloud coverage and chance of rain in the late afternoon and evening with 11% Probability of Precipitation. Wind gusts up to 15 mph likely to hit the track.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 – FP3 AND QUALIFYING
Saturday weather forecast not favorable for any kind of racing with a high chance of rain throughout the day. Rain intensity potentially heavy giving more than 20mm from dawn to middle afternoon.
Improvement expected in the late afternoon. Gusty southerly wind, up to 50 km/h until midday then veering northwesterly and weakening significantly after 1500 local time. So there is high chance of wet qualifying on Saturday afternoon.
