2019-20 NBA Champions, Los Angeles Lakers unveiled their Championship banner on May 12th, just before tip-off the final home game against Houston Rockets.
Lakers won record equaling 17th NBA Championship in Orlando after beating Miami Heat 4-2 in the NBA Finals. Due to COVID-19 caused Pandemic, fans were not present inside the NBA bubble during Lakers Championship run. So Lakers owner Jeanie Buss and super-star duo LeBron James and Anthony Davis addressed limited fans present in the Staples Center.
Lakers also played a hype video inside Staples Center about their 17 World Championships. Only Boston Celtics have won 17 NBA Champions along with Lakers. Lakers are currently second favorites to register 18th NBA Championship win during 2020-21 season, but injuries to star players like LeBron James and Anthony Davis making the dream of back-to-back titles tough for the storied franchise.
