2020 World Series Champions Los Angeles Dodgers revealed their new Nike City Connect Jersey on Thursday.
The new all stunning blue color jerseys reflects Dodgers history and their connection with city of Los Angeles. Team released an official statement on their new uniforms.
“Generations of Dodger fans have known their team by a solitary look. Clean home
whites. Road grays. That signature blue Dodgers script with a pop of red.
All topped with the iconic LA cap.
It didn’t matter the day of the week or who was pitching. The Dodgers represented
Los Angeles with an unchanging style that honored the team’s past and made it
a privilege to wear the same uniform as heroes who need only a single name to
know their impact: Jackie, Sandy, Tommy and Fernando.
For over six decades, Angelenos have been united by a team, a dream and a color.
Whether you refer to that color as blue or azul, we all share a connection,
an allegiance to a team that inspires our style, our art and our story.
For a storied franchise, it’s time for the next chapter.”
“Viva Los Dodgers is more than just a cheer heard throughout Dodger Stadium,
it’s part of our identity, and now proudly worn across the front of our jerseys —
celebrating our fans and our culture. The Dodgers are part of the fabric of Los Angeles, and these jerseys represent our strength, drawn from our passion, pride and diversity.
Los Angeles may span nearly 500 square miles, but it’s never hard to find a familiar
face with our legends immortalized, larger than life on the sides of buildings throughout the Southland. We wear our work on our sleeves and salute those that bring creativity to concrete with a pop of paint.
Los Angeles is loyal to the Boys in Blue, the azul, the Dodgers, Los Dodgers.
In any language, Dodger baseball is symbol of our style, art and story —
a connection between our team and our City”
