McLaren won dramatic 2021 Italian grand prix in the form of Daniel Ricciardo after title rivals Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen crashed out on lap 26.
Lando Norris made sure that team have finished 1-2 after holding of charging Perez and Bottas from behind.
They have finished 1-2 for the first time since 2010 Canadian Grand Prix. English drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button put them on top of the podium with splendid drive.
It took nearly 11 years for well established team like McLaren to repeat the 1-2 performance, that shows how tough to win in Formula 1, nothing comes easy. Everything should go in your way to finish 1-2.
Surprisingly no other team have managed to finish 1-2 in the 2021 season so far, so that’s big achievement for whole McLaren team and rightfully they have celebrated the success in their own way.
