Damon Hill has been a crucial part of Sky Sport’s commentary, providing unique insights into the ongoing battle. However, in his recent tweet, the former champion had some strong words to say against Red Bull boss, Horner.
Likening the team principal to a children’s song, Hill sided with ‘the Wolff‘ in F1’s latest chronicle. “In this F1 soap opera, pantomime or Grimm Fairy tale (take your pick) the Wolff appears to be the good guy whilst Little Jack Horner is still trying to pull out a plumb. Without success so far.”
Hill’s statements came in the wake of spicy Qatar GP Friday’s press conference session between the bosses where both team principles waged war on each other. Earlier in the week the Red Bull boss retaliated to Hill’s questions about Max. Could Hill be holding a grudge against Horner? It remains unsaid.
Former F1 world champion Damon Hill has been critical of Red Bull driver Max Verstappen for a while now, and with the Brazilian GP Turn 4 incident still open for discussion, everything is piling on.
Regarding his views on the incident, Hill asked Horner, “Where are we with driving standards… because my personal view is that Max was over the limit.”
Horner went on to defend his driver, as one would expect, and ended his argument with, “I don’t quite understand why you’re being so hard on Max.”

Damon Hill once again proves that he is clearly fan boy of Lewis Hamilton. He advices Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff that his driver Lewis Hamilton should push Max Verstappen out of track during potential first lap fight in tomorrow’s race.
