Big congratulations to young French man Pierre Gasly for winning 2020 Italian GP.He gone through so much in his life for past 18 months,lost his beloved Friend,got demoted by Red Bull after just 6 months, no contract to drive in F1 for 2021 season.He had much deserved luck on his side today,hope today’s win will secure his immediate F1 future if not already secured.
Italian team winning a Italian GP is always beautiful scene to watch. AlphaTauri and Monza have a special connection, they won their First ever F1 race here in 2008, when four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel put than team Toro Rosso on top of the podium with his pure talent and sheer pace.
After 12 years,they done it again.Today’s win marks just second race win for Italian based team in Formula 1. Though this time they did with little bit of luck, one cannot deny Gasly’s performance for the final 26 laps.
Formula 1 fans got really bored of Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes winning almost all the races easily from the pole, they thoroughly enjoyed today’s result of not seeing Merceds,Ferrari and Red Bull on the podium for the first time in hybrid era.It’s been 2730 days, when other team except Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull won a Grand Prix. It was Kimi Raikkonen and Lotus in Australia 2013.
