Miami Heat stays alive in the ongoing NBA Finals with 111-108 Game 5 win over Los Angeles Lakers, trails series 3-2.Thanks to an incredible team effort, including another brilliant outing from jimmy Butler, the Heat were able to keep their championship hopes alive. Game 6 will be played on Sunday at 7:30 PM ET.
Butler led Miami with 35 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, five steals and a block, in 47 minutes. Duncan Robinson followed up with 26 points on 8-of-15 shooting, including 7-of-13 from downtown, while Jae Crowder, Tyler Herro, Kendrick Nunn and Bam Adebayo each scored in double digits.
The Heat shot 46 percent from the field, including 14-of-33 from long range, and used elite defense to help power their offense, as they forced the Lakers into 15 turnovers, which they converted into 20 points. Meanwhile, LeBron James led the Lakers, with 40 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and three steals, in 41 minutes.
Anthony Davis followed up with 28 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks, three steals and three assists. The only other player to score in double digits for the Lakers was Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who tallied 16 points on 6-of-15 shooting.
