Key Responsibilities:
- Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
- Responsible for the preparation of the data package associated with an engineering project.
- Continual analysis of all aspects related to project completeness from the point of design release to project delivery.
- Working with other departments to ensure projects are delivered on-time and without issue.
- Analysis of the data contained within the Haas lifing system such that service schedules and part cycling can be adjusted to compliment project delivery.
- Preparation of car build documentation under the guidance of the Global Programme Manager to allow for earlier digital mock-up (DMU) preparation
- Maintain an awareness of trackside faults to ensure projects are not delivered with known open faults.
- Preparation of the trackside quantities document liaising with the Parts Coordinator
- Work with the Parts Coordinator to ensure parts shortage delivery is met as required.
- Event turnaround preparation for future events with the aim of mitigating parts supply risks.
- Support of the Global Programme Manager at events as deemed necessary.
- Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
- Other duties as assigned by the Global Programme Manager or their designee.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong technical background in mechanical design, car build and project preparation.
- Understanding of digital engineering is beneficial.
- Needs to be proactive, flexible, organized and able to prioritize own workload.
- Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time sensitive situations.
- Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way.
- Work well in a team environment with personnel at all levels.
