Arsenal dropped new adidas away kit for upcoming 2021-22 premier league season.
The striking yellow shirt with a blue trim features the return of the icon that unites all Arsenal fans – the famous Arsenal cannon – in place of our club crest.
This new kit is inspired by 1970/71 Arsenal’s team, who wore the yellow jersey with cannon on it and won league and FA Cup double, after 50 years on Arsenal bringing back the memories with the new adidas kit for 2021-22 season.
The new kit for the 2021/22 season will be worn for the first time by Arsenal Women in their Vitality Women’s FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace on Sunday, May 16. The men’s team will also wear the new kit in their final away fixture of the season – also against Crystal Palace – on Wednesday, May 19.
Every Arsenal shirt for the 2021/22 season features Arsenal for Everyone on the inside neck as a celebration of the diversity of the Arsenal family. As part of the launch of our new kit, our supporters and players will share their personal stories of belonging to the club in a series of films that will be released throughout the week.
Arsenal also confirmed that Visit Rwanda will continue to feature on their men’s, women’s and academy kits.
The new away kit will be registered as an option for the Arsenal goalkeepers to wear in matches in the forthcoming season, alongside the new home goalkeeper kit.
