Boston Celtics and New York Knicks drop 75th Anniversary classic edition Jersey

Boston Celtics and New York Knicks joins Golden State Warriors in celebrating 75th anniversary with a new Nike classic edition Jerseys.

The Warriors along with the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks, are the three charter members of the NBA still in existence.

The league was founded in New York City on June 6, 1946, as the Basketball Association of America (BAA). It changed its name to the National Basketball Association on August 3, 1949, after merging with the competing National Basketball League (NBL).

NBA commissioner Adam Silver earlier in the Week revealed the plan to celebrate 75th anniversary all season long.

“The 2021-22 season will be truly special as we celebrate 75 years of NBA basketball,” said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.  “We look forward to honoring the players and teams — both past and present — who have inspired generations of fans around the world.”
