What has changed?
Below are some notable updates done by the codemasters and the reason behind the change was explained by codemasters on their official site.
- Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen has stood on the podium a grand total of five times so far this season, which sees his Pace, Awareness and Overall rating increased.
- It’s no surprise that Lando Norris’ rating has gone up too, due to some exceptional performances, including that debut podium in Austria, and going from P8 to P5 on the last lap of the Styrian Grand Prix!
- Scuderia AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly has put his car in the top ten three times . With key overtaking, including some great on-track battles with Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel, his Awareness has increased by three and his Pace by four, which has moved his Overall Rating up two points.
- You probably won’t be shocked to find out that George Russell’s ratings have changed too. His performances have netted him two extra Experience points and six additional Awareness points. That’s not all! His incredible qualifying form has added two more Pace points, all of which increases his Overall Rating by one.
- Elsewhere, Racing Point’s Lance Stroll and Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo have both moved up one in their Overall Ratings, taking them to 79 and 88 respectively.
- It’s been a tough start to the year for Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel relative to teammate Charles Leclerc. This has seen the German driver’s Pace drop by two points, and his Overall Rating by one.
- Nicholas Latifi’s debut races have seen his Experience rise by 13 points, Race craft by two, Pace increase by one, and Awareness drop by 15, meaning his Overall Rating decreases by two points.
