Due to the health and safety constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, FIA’s 2020 PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY will be staged today in a virtual Format at the InterContinental Hotel, Geneva.
The FIA Prize Giving ceremony is one of the year’s most anticipated events within the motor sport community. The FIA Prize Giving ceremony sees champions from every major branch of motor sport honored during the evening.
Newly Crowned Champions Mercedes AMG Formula One Team will be honored tonight along with top-3 drivers, Lewis Hamilton , Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen.
International brands Rolex and Michelin have been partners of the event since 2013. BMW becomes the Official Transportation Partner of the FIA Prize Giving for a third time, having previously supported the 2016 FIA Prize Giving held in Vienna, Austria and the Paris event last year.
FIA President Jean Todt said: “The 2020 FIA Prize Giving will celebrate the champions of this unprecedented year. We are grateful for the continued support of our partners, Rolex and Michelin, and pleased to welcome back BMW to our celebrations.”
