Shift + Delete 2020, People around the World has gone through too much in the year 2020, arguably the worst year in the modern day era. But The New Year always brings new hope with it.
The F1 world also has the same expectation from its new year, a better one in short. At the dawn of the new year, drivers from all teams took to social media to wish their fans and few of them hoping for a better year all-around.
Newly crowned Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton wished everyone with his positive energy, “I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I know so many are struggling today and so my thoughts are with you. To the doctors and nurses out there saving lives, thank you. I pray this is a better year for all of you out there. I’m sending you all positive energy”
Ferrari man, Charles Leclerc had a humble request for the new year. “2020, I hated you more than I loved you. 2021, be nicer to everyone please” .
McLaren bound Daniel Riccardo known for his ever smiling face and the Aussie Driver is taking positives from tough 2020. He was one of the few who was grateful to 2020.
“I’m normally boy band drunk by this stage. Thanks 2020. You’ve changed me”
Red Bull Driver Sergio Perez took the opportunity to send a message to his motherland Mexico and wished for its everlasting glory.
“I ask for a 2021, where we unite more as a Country and together we move forward !!!!! Today more than ever it’s time to support us and speak well of our Mexico! Cheers, for a great 21!“
And the Mexican continued with thanking 2020 and asked 2021 to be a healthy year for everyone.
“How tough you were, 2020! Thank you for so much that you gave to me and my entire family. Thanks to everyone who with all their work helped us to get ahead! Cheers to those who left us this year. 2021, I ask you good health for everyone!”
Another Red Bull driver and Perez’s team mate Max Verstappen welcomes 2021 with his new love.
