The new LaLigaSantander 2020/21 season will begin on the weekend of September 12/13.Unfortunately fans have to wait till Mach day 3 to watch Barcelona,Real Madrid ,Atletico Madrid and Sevilla in action as their respective games are postponed due to their extended run in 2019-20 Euro competitions.
Key dates
The first match between Real Betis and Sevilla FC will be held on the weekend of January 3 at the Benito Villamarín Stadium, while the second round match will be played on the weekend of March 14 at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium. .
Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid will face each other on the weekend of December 13 at the Santiago Bernabéu, while the Wanda Metropolitano duel will be on the weekend of March 7.
The first Clásico of the season will be on matchday 7, the weekend of November 25. This first round match will take place at the Camp Nou. In the second round, the Bernabéu will host the second Clásico on matchday 30, the weekend of April 11.

- Real Madrid – Getafe CF: February-March 2021 on European competition dates.

- Athletic Club – FC Barcelona: 6 January 2021
- Levante UD – Atlético de Madrid: February-March 2021 on European competition dates.
- Sevilla FC – Elche C.F.: February-March 2021 on European competition dates.
MATCHDAY 4:
- Granada CF – C.A. Osasuna: If Granada are in the Europa League Play Off this match will be played 12 January 2021.
