2020 summer’s transfer window officially come to an end and it ran until Monday 5 October, closing at 23:00 BST. Manchester United had a busy deadline day, signing four new players. Let’s review United’s complete 2020 Summers Transfer window INS & OUTS.
INS:
Manchester United completed first signing of the window on 2 September, when Donny van de Beek’s arrival from Ajax was confirmed. The 23-year-old midfielder signed a five-year-deal with the Reds, with the option to extend for a further year, after scoring 41 goals in 175 appearances for his boyhood club.
Alex Telles was then announced on 5 October, with the Brazil international joining from Portuguese champions FC Porto, followed by the announcement that Amad Traore is to join in January from Atalanta.
Edinson Cavani, the Uruguayan legend, arrived as a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, and Facundo Pellistri finalised his move from Penarol close to the deadline.
Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay and Brandon Williams, plus Dean Henderson on his return from Sheffield United, have signed new deals.
