Manchester United beat Bournemouth 5-2 at Old Trafford in their premier league fixture. Teenage sensation Mason Greenwood scores twice.
While Chelsea and Leicester lost their mid-week fixture,United Manager don’t want to lose the golden opportunity to close the gap to top-4 in the table.He fielded same strong side that beat Brighton on Tuesday night, with Rashford,Martial and Greenwood leading from the front, united continued their unbeaten streak in Bruno era.
United were unstoppable
Bournemouth got early lead in the form of Junior Stanislas, who scored a wonderful goal in the 15th minute, United keeper De Gea could have done better job here.But United players were relentless in finding equalizer and finally breakthrough came on 29th minute via teenage sensation Greenwood, who smashed the perfect pass from Bruno Fernandes into back of the net.

But Greenwood scored with a spectacular effort on 54 minutes, before Bruno Fernandes netted with a free-kick just before the hour mark.
Bruno Fernandes won Man of the Match for his 2 assists and 1 goal performance. With today’s win United briefly moves to third place in standings just 1 point ahead of Chelsea, who will be hosting Watford at Stamford Bridge later in the evening.
Now United front line Rashford(20),Martial(20) and Greenwood(15) have scored more goals(55) this season than Liverpool trio Mane,Salah and Firmino(51).
