Pelicans Brandon Ingram wins 2019-20 Most Improved Player award

After being named as all-star in 2019-20 season for the first time in his career, New Orleans Pelicans Brandon Ingram wins NBA kia Most Improved Player of the year award for 2019-20 season.

Ingram was drafted by Los Angeles Lakers as No.2 overall pick in 2016 NBA Draft,before he was traded to New Orleans Pelicans as part of Anthony Davis Block buster trade during off-season. The trade helped him in many ways, his numbers are improved across the board except FG% compared to 2018-19 season with Lakers.

Brandon Ingram won the award with 42 first-place votes and 326 total points, Ingram faced stiff competition from Miami Heat’s bigman, Bam Adebayo,who finished in 2nd place ahead of Luka Doncic (Dallas) and Jayson Tatum(Boston) with 38 first-place votes and 295 total points.
