Tottenham and Nike drops third kit for 2020-21 season,inspired by iconic kits from Spurs past and Nike’s sneaker heritage.Club statement on the new Nike kit.
“The kit is designed head-to-toe in yellow – a classic Spurs shirt colour – with a navy blue trim on a crew collar, shirt sleeves and socks. Subtle bands of yellow grow increasingly darker as they flow down the front of the jersey, owing to the influence of the iconic Nike Air Max 95 trainers, a popular style on the streets of north London.
Our crest and the Nike swoosh are positioned centrally in a nod to famous past yellow kits, including the shirts worn during our FA Cup Final triumph in 1982 and selected subsequent European outings as our success continued into the mid-1980s with UEFA Cup glory in 1984.
Crafted from breathable fabric, the new kit is designed for all-day comfort and performance, whether on the pitch or in the stands. It is also made with 100 per cent recycled polyester fabric.”
The new third kit is available to purchase online and in the Spurs Shop from 8am on Monday 14 September, with training and leisure items from the collection arriving in early October.
From next Monday, fans will also be able to get their hands on the new Spurs third kit-inspired AS Air Max 2090 trainers, which have been designed alongside the new kit. These will be available online.
