Tyronn Lue and Los Angeles Clippers agreed five-years deal to become new Head coach for Steve Balmer team, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. According to Woj, Lue and Clippers agreed five year deal to start the new chapter in Franchise history.
Clippers are without Head coach since Doc Rivers left them to join 76ers after falling to Denver Nuggets in the second round of NBA Playoffs. Ty Lue joined Clippers coaching staff under Rivers for 2019-20 season after failed to agree terms with Los Angeles Lakers for their Head coaching vacancy.
Ty Lue coached star pair LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in Cleveland Cavaliers before he got fired from his position. He guided Cavaliers to their first NBA Championship during 2016 season against Golden State Warriors in a spectacular 3-1 comeback.
