Bayren Munich humiliated Barcelona & Messi with a 8-2 win to reach Champions League semi-final and they will face winner of Manchester City vs Lyon in final four clash.This is the worst defeat in all European competitions for Spanish side.

How it Happened?

German Forward Thomas Müller gave Bayern early lead by netting beautiful goal in the 4^th minute of the game,after beautifully exchanging passes with Robert Lewandowski.

But that lead last hardly 3 minutes,when David Alaba sliced Jordi Alba’s cross into his own net. Barcelona missed golden chances to take lead,Lionel Messi hit a post and Suarez shot went directly into Neuer gloves.

Bayren’s high pressing game rattled Barcelona defense and they gave away possession in critical areas. Serge Gnabry robbed Sergi Roberto and teed up Ivan Perišić for Bayern’s second in the 22^nd minute and the floodgates opened.

Gnabry himself added the third in the 28^th minute and Müller turned in Joshua Kimmich’s cross to make it four in the 31^st minute.This will be the fastest four goals scored in Champions League history, Bayren reduced it’s own benchmark time of 36 minutes to 31 minutes with today’s game.

Bayren headed to half-time break with a commanding 4-1 lead over one of European giants.This is the first time Barcelona conceded 4 goals in the first half of the Champions League game.

Luis Suárez pulled one back for Barcelona in the 57^th minute but that only disturbed the hornets’ nest again, Kimmich making it 5-2 following a dazzling run by Alphonso Davies in the 63^rd minute.

Lewandowski’s 14th goal of their European campaign in the 82^nd minute makes it 6-2, with this goal The Polish captain equaled Ronaldo’s record of scoring in 8 consecutive UCL games.

To add fuel into the burning fire, Bayren replaced goal scorer Gnabry with Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho,he scored two goals in 4 minutes against his parent club to seal landmark victory.
