Vettel’s emotional final Day at Ferrari

Sebastian Vettel concluded his 6 years of Ferrari career with a P14 finish at season finale Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Vettel finished 2020 season Drivers Championship in P13 with 33 points, the German clinched one podium and zero wins. His struggles mainly down to poor performance by Ferrari and SF1000.

After the race, Vettel took team radio to say thanks to the team in his style, by singing song and also The German said he is gonna miss the team, “For sure it was an emotional day, with the mechanics waving goodbye on the grid, I felt there was a different dynamic & tension there. I’m sad for the guys, I will miss them! But happy to embark on a new journey!”

When asked, What was your most beautiful moment with Scuderia Ferrari ? Vettel replied, “Of course you can say the wins. The first win. Malaysia 2015. The win in Monaco. Yeah I believe the new start with Charles in the team. There are many highlights. Small stories off and on track.”

Ferrari gave Vettel great send-off by giving him big Silverware for his 6 years of partnership.

When Seb was asked about his opinion after concluding his Ferrari career, Do you feel emptied or relieved? Vettel said, “Maybe both of them. Today it is better not to talk about the race. But the last six years have been very special for me. At first it was a dream, but in the end it was a bit sad, but that’s how it went.”

when asked to Tell us one of your favourite Ferrari stories!, Vettel replied, “A lot of things happened in the garage. After the win in Malaysia, the party was great. We drank everything the hotel bar had to offer.”
